One of my favorite dip recipes my mom has been making for years is this easy Taco Dip. I’ve been meaning to get this recipe from her for years and now I finally have it. This dip is basically three layers of ingredients baked until the cheese is gooey and bubbly.
It’s not much to look at when it’s scooped out into bowls but trust me, it is delicious! You can top this taco dip with anything you please. I just used sliced black olives this time but you can opt for tomatoes, green onions, etc.
Ingredients:
- 1 can refried beans
- 8oz cream cheese (room temp)
- 1 packet taco seasoning (I use the lower sodium one)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- toppings of your choice
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°.
- Spray pie dish with non-stick cooking spray. Spread out entire can of refried beans into the bottom of the pie dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the room temperature cream cheese and taco seasoning packet until well blended. Spread mixture on top of the refried beans.
- Top with shredded cheese and desired toppings.
- Bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until edges are bubbling. Enjoy with your favorite chips!
