Yesterday I happened to be having extreme chocolate cravings that we as lucky women get to have once a month. 😉 Luckily I always keep chocolate chips on hand for just such as occasion.
I kept coming across these blondie recipes here and there and it had been something I’d never had before. So today seemed like the perfect time to make them.
The recipe is really simple to make and turned out really good. The gooey chocolate chunks were the perfect remedy to my chocolate cravings.
Ingredients:
- 1 & 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chunk chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°
- In your stand mixer, mix the first 4 ingredients until combined well.
- In a separate bowl; combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Slowly add flour mixture into the mixer.
- Stir in the chocolate chunks. Transfer mixture into a foil lined and greased baking pan.
- Bake for 20 – 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
