The other day I was making us a nice roasted whole chicken for dinner but was wondering what I could whip up to go with them. I came across this super simple cheddar garlic biscuit recipe. When I realized I had all of the ingredients, I knew I had to make them.
Let me just say that these are really easy and quick to make. And on top of that, they are very yummy!
The garlic and cheese is a nice subtle addition to the biscuits, it’s not too overwhelming. I think these biscuits will quickly become one of those recipes I make over and over again.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Bisquick mix
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Combine first 4 ingredients until moist. Drop onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the biscuits are baking, melt butter.
- Brush butter onto the tops of the biscuits.
