Oreos, chocolate chip cookie dough and cheesecake all in one? Yep, these easy bars are all three things in one yummy dessert!
There is really very little effort involved with this recipe. It calls for a tube of already prepared cookie dough, Oreos, a bar of cream cheese and 3 other pantry staples.
It’s just a matter of quickly mixing the cheesecake portion and then layering everything else together. Bake it in the oven, let it chill and you’re ready to go.
Don’t let its simplicity fool you though. These Oreo chocolate chip cheesecake bars are so delicious!
You get a rich, decadent dessert bar that took minutes to slap together. The cookie dough and the Oreos get nice and soft so it has a nice creamy texture, just like cheesecake.
A little piece goes a very long way because they are very dense and filling. If you love cookies and cheesecake, you’ll love this one!
Ingredients:
- 16 oz tube of refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- 16 Oreo cookies
- 12 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 Oreos, crushed for topping
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 9x9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Evenly press half of the cookie dough into the bottom of the pan.
- Layer Oreos, in 4 rows of 4 cookies, on top of the cookie dough layer.
- With an electric mixer, blend together the cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla until smooth. Spread evenly over the Oreo layer.
- Drop small pieces of the remaining cookie dough on top. Sprinkle with crushed Oreos.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until center is set and top starts to brown.
- Cool completely and chill in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving.
