The NYX section at Ulta always seems to get me in trouble. I went to look at some of the shades of the butter glosses that I don’t already have and got sucked in by the eyeshadow palettes. The newer Love In Paris collection ($9.99) caught my eye specifically.
This collection has a wide variety of 12 different palettes containing some very enticing shades. I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted to try but I was leaning towards something different from what I already have in my collection.
Inspired by the fall like weather we’ve been having here lately, Pardon My French looked ideal for this time of year. This palette contains 9 eyeshadow shades in browns, golds, greens and bronze colors. All of the colors are glitter or shimmer shades except for 1 matte dark brown color.
Overall I’m really digging this palette. The majority of the colors are nicely pigmented and smooth and creamy. They blend really well too.
The lighter shades, mainly the top row, are a little less impressive as far as pigmentation goes but they’re still workable. The ones that do have glitter in them are quite sparkly but I don’t experience any fallout with them.

I love the gold tone in most of the shades. Definitely need this palette.
