These new NYX Butter Gloss lip glosses are a bargain at only $5 each! The collection is available in a total of 12 different shades. Each shade is named after a sweet dessert of some kind. They all have the same sweet and sugary vanilla scent but no flavor.
I chose four to try out:
- Peaches and Cream
- Apple Strudel
- Strawberry Parfait
- Vanilla Cream Pie
All of the colors in the line are cream shades with no shimmer or glitter, which is nice. They glide nicely on the lips and stay soft and smooth with no stickiness. They are a bit thicker than the NYX mega shine lip glosses but feel pretty much the same on the lips.
I find that these are all nicely pigmented shades that can be worn alone and still give the lips a nice amount of color and shine. As with any lip gloss, you won’t get fantastic wear out of these. They will need reapplied often but for only $5 each, you really can’t go wrong.
