The other day I spotted a new display at Walgreens for Spring 2014. The Covergirl Pastelicious collection contains beautiful pastel shades of the jumbo gloss balms, lip perfection lipsticks and nail polishes. It’s not clear if all of these shades are new or not.
I was tempted by pretty much everything but settled on only buying one of the lipstick shades. I picked up the color called Delicious.
Delicious is a pretty medium pink cream shade with a hint of purple. The Pantone color of the year for 2014 is orchid and this sort of fits into that category.
The color is nicely pigmented and opaque on the lips. It has a very creamy texture and keeps my lips feeling soft and smooth. It has a semi-glossy finish which makes adding a lip gloss on top unnecessary.
I’m really loving this color with my fair skin. It’s a very wearable purple toned shade since it leans more pink. What do you think of Covergirl Delicious?
