The July 2014 Beauty Box 5 pays tribute to our defining moments.

This month looks amazing with 4 full size products and 1 sample sized.  If you don’t already know about Beauty Box 5, it’s a monthly subscription service that sends five travel-sized, deluxe-sized and full-sized cosmetic products straight to your front door for only $12 per month.

Let’s take a look at what I received:

Revlon Bold Lacquer by Grow Luscious Mascara ($7.99) – I already own this mascara and like it ok.  I wrote a full review with before and after swatches last month so I’m waiting to open this one.

Hask Argan Oil Intense Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment ($2.49) – These are really great.  I tested them out in April, review here, and I really like how soft and detangled my hair is after I use one. The packet is pretty big so I get a few uses out of one.

Body Drench Candy Licious Lips ($3.99) – A moisturizing lip balm in a refreshing peppermint scent. These types of balms are constantly coming in these sample boxes so I have tons of them already.  I have to admit that I hate seeing these in these boxes now!  I’ll never use all of them so I’ll give this one away.

Anna Naturals Glowing Mama Walnut Face & Body Scrub ($1.37) – This smells so good! It has a light citrus scent to it with a nice exfoliating texture.

Starlooks Lip Liner in Tickle Me Pink ($12) – This full size liner is a really pretty medium pink color.  It has silver sparkles in it but those thankfully don’t transfer to your lips.  It’s soft, creamy and very pigmented.

This was a really good month for Beauty Box 5.  I could do without the lip balm but everything else is great.  The retail value of my box came to $27.84 not including the scrub. Test it out for yourself! Subscribe to Beauty Box 5 here.
