A few weeks ago I mentioned my new obsession with Ulta lipsticks and how they were constantly on sale. Well I had a few returns that I needed to make at Ulta so I made the annoyingly long trip there and discovered that yes, they were indeed on sale yet again. This time Ulta cosmetics were buy 2, get 2 free! So naturally I picked out 4 items; 2 eyeshadows and 2 new lipstick shades.
I took my time this trip and swatched just about all of the shades and I can confidently say I now have all of the colors in their collection that I like. This time I picked up #237 Precious Pink and #216 Berry Pretty. As you can see from my pictures, they are really similar looking in the tubes. I swear they looked a lot different in the store under those bright lights! But once on the lips, you can tell that they are quite different.
One main difference in these two Ulta lipsticks is their finishes. Berry Pretty is a cream formula that gives a nice pigmented and opaque color to your lips. Precious Pink on the other hand is a sheer finish lipstick. It still has pigmented color but a slightly sheer coverage with a nice glossy finish.
I know I’ve said this before but these Ulta lipsticks are so worth a try! I’m never disappointed by the colors and coverage. When you get them on sale, you can score some amazing prices.
