I have to say that this is only the third month of the MyGlam bag to ever go out and I’ve been pleased with every single month. The main reason why I love MyGlam so much is that they are keeping everyone happy by giving all subscribers the same things. That’s one of the reasons why I think Birchbox has been taking such a hit lately.
Birchbox’s contents are so drastically different for a lot of people. One person gets products valued at around $30 and the next person may only get things valued at $15. Naturally, the people who get the lesser valued box are going to get upset and disappointed. Which I think is understandable.
But that’s not the case with MyGlam thankfully. February’s MyGlam sample bag came in an adorable pink shiny bag with black hearts on it. And the contents inside were pretty great too!
Here’s what I got:
Freeman Facial Hydration Mask in Goji Berry – A generous 0.5oz sample packet that will get me at least two uses out of it.
Premier Dead Sea Cinderella Mask and Eye Cream – Each small packet is 0.07oz. One packet is an eye cream to firm skin. The other packet is a stretching and revitalizing mask to treat fine lines and wrinkles. They came in a cute pink pouch plus a 50% discount code to order the full size.
X Out Shine Control – A 0.75oz tube of oil free moisturizer with a shine control mattifying complex. This is from the makers of Proactiv so I’m excited to try it.
NYX Roll on Shimmer in Salmon – A full sized eye, face and body shimmer which is a brand new product for NYX. Salmon is a pinkish champagne loose powder that rolls on easily. It has tons of sparkle to it. I’m not sure how you’re supposed to use this as an eyeshadow though. It’s a very loose powder and would have tons of glittery fall out. Plus a 30% discount code for purchasing more!
NuMe $100 Gift Certificate – I was shocked by this one! It’s a coupon code that you can put towards any of their professional stying tools and hair extensions. It’s good until this coming August so I will probably take advantage of this for a new flat iron.
Pink Shiny Makeup Bag with Black Hearts
Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares – One milk chocolate and one dark chocolate square which was perfect cause hubs likes dark and I like milk so we shared them in honor of Valentine’s Day.

I loved this bag. I am now using it as my makeup bag in my purse. 🙂 i am wearing the stretching mask right now. i appreciated the coupons but still too expensive for me 🙁 coupons on less expensive items would be even better.
You’re right Jennifer. The $100 coupon is nice but the products are still way expensive. You could still get a flat iron or curling wand for less somewhere else. I was just happy that they didn’t make that the centerpiece of the bag. The bag was still great and a good value even without the coupon.
I TOTALLY agree with you about Birchbox! They have some amazing boxes every month, but they also have reaally bad boxes. And I always got stuck with the bad ones :/. Like, I would get ONE product that wasn’t a free sample, and that one product would be one of many good samples in another box.
I wasn’t psyched about this month’s MyGlam since I have sensitive skin, but I’m hoping the next bag will have more makeup 🙂

It’s very frustrating isn’t it? I’m hoping that the MyGlam bags make Birchbox step up their game a bit. We’ll see I guess.
I’m still pretty disappointed with My Glam. I seem to be plagued with problems since signing up for their service… I know they are new and they have so much potential which is why I am waiting it out in hopes that they will fix their problems.
I’m looking forward to seeing what we get for March!
