I was so excited the other day to come across two new shades of the popular Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters ($7.49)! I had no idea that there were even any new colors being released. But after a bit of scouring the net, I’ve read some posts about there being a total of 4 new colors out. I was able to score Sorbet and Wild Watermelon.
Sorbet is a bright fuchsia pink color. Initially in the packaging it looked a lot like the shade Lollipop. After swatching both side by side, Lollipop is more purple pink while Sorbet is definitely fuchsia pink.
Wild Watermelon looks really red in the tube, almost as red as Candy Apple. But when swatched, Wild Watermelon is more pink than red. It’s a really flattering pink color on the lips, I love it!
These two shades go really well with the new trend of vivid lip colors for Spring and Summer of 2013. Supposedly the other two new colors are Pink Lemonade and Juicy Papaya. I can’t wait to see what those two shades look like and if they are vivid colors as well.

I’m kicking myself for passing up Wild Watermelon. I picked up Juicy Papaya but haven’t swatched it yet. I also saw Sorbet which I wanted, but it was used. :/ I’m hoping to find the two again soon!

Dying to get my hands on both these shades! Wild Watermelon is my most-wanted of the new shades. It’s so vibrant! Sorbet is such a lovely shade too! I love how vivid yet wearable the Lip Butters are. There is something super pretty about a vibrant yet translucent shades – they remind me of watercolors. Though I have to say I am not a fan of shades that don’t have a good amount of pigment so I’ll probably be passing on Pink Lemonade, a barely there pink (one of the 4 new shades). I might get Juicy Papaya but I’m not 100% sure yet. It’s on the maybe list though! I adore the Lip Butters! They are easily my most-used lippies (I’ve been through 4 tubes of Candy Apple and 3 tubes of Cherry Tart, my 2 favorites!) so I’m excited for the new shades!
I wish I could find the other two! I’ll definitely be buying both and swatching them here. Hope I find them soon!

Hi Jennifer. I found them randomly on a shelf at Ulta. They were just there, not in a display or anything. They were the only two left I guess. I have been out for the past week looking in every drugstore around for more and have yet to see them. I’m thinking they weren’t supposed to be released just yet but somehow made it onto a shelf. Hopefully they will be out everywhere in the next month or so.
Hey ladies, i dont know ifyou’ve found all the four of the new colors yet, but they are ALL at Target. Yes! I couldn’t find them anywhere. But Target has all four colors, and even better ON SALE. ($6.49)
Hi Shelby. Well not all Target stores, haha. I was just at my local Target last night and they do not have any of the 4 new shades yet. I’m keeping my eyes peeled though, hoping to do a giveaway with them in the next few weeks if I can ever find them!
How funny that you reviewed these two colors together as I just bought them today! I’ve been wearing Tutti Frutti quite a bit and I have Red Velvet- but it is more wintery color so I may have to wait on wearing that more frequently.
