Recently Pixi collaborated with one of my favorite YouTubers, ItsJudyTime. Together they created both an eyeshadow palette and a lip palette. The Get The Look ItsEyeTime shadow palette ($24) includes 12 eyeshadows.
I love the size of the packaging. It’s not too big and bulky like some eyeshadow palettes can be. It’s slim and made with a nice lightweight plastic.
The clear lid lifts up to give you access to the 12 generous sized eyeshadows. There is no mirror built into the palette but they did include a separate mirror that you can choose to attach to your palette or not.
This is the first Pixi product that I’ve ever tried so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I can honestly say now that I’m very impressed with the quality of these eyeshadows.
The shimmery shades are so buttery smooth. The matte colors are a touch on the dry side but they aren’t chalky at all.
I love that none of these shadow colors kick up excess powder when you touch or tap your brush into them. Nothing bugs me more than an overly messy palette with tons of powdery waste.
All of the eyeshadow colors are very pigmented. My swatches below are all one swipe swatches. Yes, one single pass across my arm is all that was needed for these shadows!
They all apply beautifully to the eyelids as well. I’ve been using this palette for weeks now and have had no issues with blending, color payoff or creasing.
I’m giving this Pixi palette two big thumbs up. I love the range of neutral colors in it and I think price wise it’s a good value as well.
I’ve been loving this ItsJudyTime palette so much that I’m thinking that I really need to get the lip palette as well.
Available online at Pixi or in Target stores.
