As part of the Spring 2014 City Bloom collection NYC has released a limited edition Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder ($4.99) named Spring Petals. This one is a combination of a matte light tan, matte medium brown and light matte pink with a shimmery medium peachy pink.
The shimmery pink part has lots of golden glitter in it so I won’t be using this as an all over face powder. When you swirl the colors together you get a nice medium pink color with hints of golden peach.
The glitter is quite noticeable so that is why I would stay away from putting this all over my face. The glitter is not too bad on the cheeks though and helps to give you a healthy looking glow.
Spring Petals is nicely pigmented and the powder itself is really nice quality for the price. It’s silky smooth and blends really easily.
Overall I’m happy to add this shade to my blush collection. I think it’s really pretty both in the packaging and on the skin. What do you think of NYC Spring Petals?
