To go along with The Lifter Instant Age Rewind foundation, Maybelline released the The Perfector Instant Age Rewind Powder ($10). This skin smoothing powder contains shea butter and jojoba oil along with a swirl of primer. The Perfector comes in 6 different shades. I picked up the second lightest color, Light.
The packaging is a nice and convenient size with a flip top lid. The bottom also flips open to reveal a sponge and a nice sized mirror.
The powder is very soft and silky. I love the look and feel of this powder on the face. It doesn’t have that powdery, cakey look at all. It has a semi matte finish that has a bit of luminosity to it.
Coverage of this Maybelline powder is very good also. On top of foundation, it adds an extra bit of coverage while smoothing out the look of your skin. The coverage is so good that I’ve even worn this powder alone with just a bit of concealer. Even alone, it still gives your skin substantial coverage.
Wear time is really good on my oily skin as well. It stays nice pretty much all day, which is much better than most powders do. I’m assuming that is because of the primer inside of this powder.
Overall I’m really pleased with Maybelline The Perfector Instant Age Rewind powder. Does this look like something you would try?
Available online at Walmart, Target and Ulta.

Yes I need to try that………….we are getting an Ulta in February and can’t wait! That has nothing to do with your post ~ just super excited! Lol
Oh lucky you Karen, I’m jealous! I have to drive 45 minutes each way for the closest Ulta to me. I only make the treck once every two or three months.
Sounds great. I am wondering how it works with the foundation The Lifter?
Hi Tracy, guess I should have mentioned that in my post, haha! It works really well with The Lifter foundation. Since that foundation is such a light coverage, The Perfector powder adds a little extra coverage and smooths everything out. And since they both have primer in them, they seem to both stay really well on my oily skin all day.
Its ok. I tried it a few times. Texture is good. I feel it doesnt last long though!!
