After all the anticipation, Makeup Geek has finally released their collection of powder blush! There are a total of 13 different shades that come in either pan form ($9.99) or compact form ($12.99).
By the time I made it to the site, a few days after they became available, it was slim pickins! Unfortunately a lot of shades I wanted were already out of stock so I only picked up three of the colors; Honeymoon, Bliss and Head Over Heels.
Honeymoon in a pale pink with just a hint of mauve to it. This one does have lots of silver glittery specks in it but they are not very noticeable on the cheeks.
Bliss is a bright matte peach color in the pan. You can wear this one either with a light hand for a soft peachy look or go as bold as you’d like. Even though it’s matte, it’s not chalky at all.
Head Over Heels is my absolute fave of the three! It’s a bubblegum pink shade with a very light shimmer. This one gives my cheeks such a natural looking pink flushed color with a beautiful glow to it.
As expected, I’m totally hooked on these! They are so soft and buttery smooth with loads of pigmentation. All of the shades work really well with my fair skin but Honeymoon may be a bit too light for those with medium to dark skin tones.
Unfortunately I want more colors now and they’re mostly all out of stock. 🙁 Guess I’ll just have to be patient, which I’m not really good at. Oh and these blush pans are a nice generous size too, just a tad smaller than a MAC blush pan.
Where you able to get your hands on any of the Makeup Geek blush colors? Which one is your fave?
