The It Cosmetics Brow Power Perfector ($24) pencil is a 5-in-1 product meant to take the place of your brow pencils, powders, setting gels, conditioning treatments and your brow brush. It comes in 4 different shade choices; Auburn, Blonde, Dark Brown and Universal Taupe.
Since I have medium to dark brown hair, I bought the dark brown shade. It is rather dark, maybe too dark for me to use all year round. But hey, bold brows are in this Fall/Winter so I’ll use it until at least spring.
I already own and love the It Cosmetics Universal Brow Power pencil but this brow perfector is much different. For starters, it is so much softer. It reminds me of the soft and creamy Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencils. It easily glides onto the skin and quickly fills in my brows with very little effort.
I also like that along with filling in your brows, it also sets them in place at the same time because of it’s waxy texture. It’s also long wearing like an eyeliner too. Once it dries down, it stays in place for me all day.
The one negative I find is that this Brow Power Perfector is not as precise as the Brow Perfector Universal. The formula and firmer tip of the Universal pencil helps you get finer, more defined lines than this one does.
Overall, I think this one’s a must try. I know you’re thinking that $24 is pretty steap for an eyebrow pencil but QVC sells a duo that comes with a sharpener for only $29!
Have you tried either of the It Cosmetics Brow Power eyebrow pencils yet?
