Wet n Wild has released three colors in their new Color Icon Ombre Blush ($4.99) line. I purchased the pink version called The Princess Daiquiries.
As you can see, this blush starts at the bottom as a light pink and fades into a pale peachy pink at the top. The texture is pretty smooth but powdery. A fair amount of excess kicks up when you run your brush across it.
I’ve gotta say, I’m pretty unimpressed by this blush. It’s really, really light on pigmentation. On my fair skin it shows up as a very light flush of pink. But I highly doubt it would show up on anyone with medium or darker skin tones.
The Princess Daiquiries ombre blush is pretty disappointing. I wish the color had more pigmentation cause I really do like the pretty pink color but it takes a lot to get it to show up. 🙁
Why oh why can’t Wet n Wild be more consistent in their products. Some things are really great and then other things are terrible. Wish they could find a happy medium across the line.
