Part of Wet N Wild‘s newest MegaGlo collection includes chubby concealer, contouring and highlighting makeup sticks. I usually steer clear of cream products because of my oily skin but picked up the highlight stick out of curiosity.
There is only one single color to choose, When The Nude Strikes. The color is a very pigmented pale pink toned highlight.
For only $3.99, I wasn’t expecting much from this makeup stick but this formula is pretty impressive. It is so silky smooth and creamy to the touch. It feels light on my skin and not greasy at all.
You can use your fingertips to apply this highlighter to your skin but I prefer another method. I swirl the stick around on the back of my hand to warm it up and then I use a small stipple brush to apply it to my cheeks.
This Wet N Wild highlighter is intense on the skin. I like a subtle highlight on my cheeks so a little goes a long way for me. It gives the most beautiful glow to your skin and almost makes your cheekbones look wet.
The Wet N Wild website lists this highlighter stick as a cream-to-powder formula and I can see how that is true. It has a light powdery feel on my fingertips and it blends very easily on the skin.
It works well over your setting powder as well. Most cream products don’t work very well over powders but I haven’t had an issue since using this.
I love that this Wet N Wild highlighter does not make me look like a glittery mess. It has very, very fine shimmery specks in it but they aren’t noticeable on the skin.
Highlighter lovers, I highly, highly recommend you check this one out. It’s definitely worth having for its budget friendly price tag.
