In addition to Rose Parade, I was also able to snag the Wet N Wild Fergie Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette ($5) in Bulletproof Glide. This palette is a collection of 5 shades perfect for acheiving a smokey eye.
In this compact you get a satin off-white, a shimmery charcoal gray, shimmery light silver, matte khaki and a matte black. I was rather happy with the pigmentation of the shades in this one over the Rose Parade palette.
As with Rose Parade, the matte black is super pigmented and jet black in just one swipe. The darker gray shade is also nicely pigmented. I do find that the off-white shade is a little on the chalky side when swatched but didn’t apply chalky at all. It blended out nicely and makes the perfect highlight shade.
As for the khaki and the light silver, they aren’t as impressive. They are light on pigmentation but still very useable eyeshadows, they just take a bit of extra fussing. All of the swatches below are over an eyeshadow primer.
I snapped this one up at the same time I bought Rose Parade so I also got it for the sale price of only $3.74. I have to say that this one is totally worth having if you like smokey looks. What do you think of Bulletproof Glide?
