This Spring Wet N Wild has released two new Color Icon 8 Pan Eyeshadow Palettes ($4.99) as part of the The Style Award Goes To collection. Flirting At The After Party is a majority of purple shades while Walking The Red Carpet is browns and golds.
These 8 pan Wet N Wild palettes have been hit and miss lately so I wasn’t convinced that I would be that happy with these two. I’m so glad I chose to buy both though cause they are great!
I’m super happy with all of the shades in Flirting At The After Party. All of the shades are smooth and creamy and nicely pigmented. I don’t have any issues with chalky or powdery textures either.
The same rings true for the Walking The Red Carpet palette. I’m extremely happy with all of the shades except for one. The gold eyelid color is not that great but I expected that just by looking at it.
It’s basically all gold glitter so it has tons of fallout. When used dry it doesn’t have the greatest payoff either. But when you do wet the brush first you get much better results. I’m not big on really glittery shadows so I probably will never use that color.
I highly recommend these two palettes. I’ve been getting tons of use out of them ever since I bought them a couple weeks ago. So far I’ve been loving the gold crease color on my lids lately!
What do you think of these two limited edition Wet N Wild palettes?
