Have you seen Benefit’s new Watt’s Up face highlighter? It just recently came out and it’s super cute. One thing Benefit always does right is their packaging. I always love how their stuff looks.
Watt’s Up is no exception. It’s packaged to resemble a light bulb. On one end you have a cream stick highlighter and on the other end is a rounded sponge to blend it out.
The product description on the box reads: “Our delicate champagne sheer highlighter smoothes on a sweet glow that’s gorgeous. With a cream-to-powder finish…it’s a switch-on “wow” for all complexions.”
Although I’ve only had this for a few days, I’m in love with it! It goes on so soft and creamy and blends out like a dream. It leaves behind just a nice subtle peachy, pink glow with no glitter or sparkles. I even like it much better than their liquid highlighters. It’s so much more convenient in the stick form than having to fuss with a messy liquid.
Although the sponge end looks really handy, I don’t see myself using it often or if ever. I think they could have done without the sponge, I simply blend it with my fingertips. But for ladies on the go who don’t want to get their fingertips covered in makeup, it will come in handy. Just toss it in your handbag and go.
The only downside I can see to this product is the price tag. I paid $30 for it from Sephora. Yikes, I know! It’s a bit steep price wise.
However, I can’t imagine running out of this anytime soon. I can definitely see this lasting me quite a while. Like, well over a year or more! If you wind out the stick, you’ll see about an inch of product length with the width being around 3/4″. That’s quite a bit of cream stick when you’re just using a dab here and there.
All in all, this ones a keeper. I was prepared to return it if it didn’t measure up. But no worries, Benefit definitely know Watt’s Up! So, have you had your eyes on Benefit’s new Watt’s Up? Or have you tried it already? Leave me your thoughts below.
