Well here we are, 10 weeks into using the Tria Hair Removal Laser. It all started back in May of this year when I began my 3 month hair free journey. Two and a half months later I’m ready to profess my love for this device.
In case you aren’t familiar with the Tria Beauty Hair Removal Laser 4X, it’s an at-home device for permanently removing unwanted hair. I’m treating my legs, my underarms, my upper lip, tops of my feet and my big toes.
As I stated in my 6 week Tria update, treatments are virtually pain free. I do occasionally feel a bit of a warm sensation on some areas but no more than that. I’ve still not used it at full power though pretty much cause I’m a chicken, lol.
Overall, the growth of hair has significantly decreased on all of my treated areas. I notice that the little bit of remaining hair on my upper lip, tops of my feet and toes has really become fine and grows very slowly now.
The hair on my underarms and legs has really begun to thin out and become more sparse. These areas seem like they’re going to take me a couple more months of treatment to completely stop the hair growth.
I’m Italian on my mother’s side and have coarse thick hair. So I’m not surprised at all that my leg and underarm hair are being stubborn and taking a bit longer.
However, the hair growth in those areas has really slowed down so I’m not needing to shave nearly as much as I used to have to. I’m shaving about once or twice weekly instead of every other day, which is awesome!
At this point I would highly recommend the Tria Beauty Hair Removal Laser 4X. It’s quite an investment to start but so worth the results in the long run. I’m looking forward to a hair free holiday season!

Don’t get too excited. I have the Tria and have had professional laser hair removal. I have had both methods reduce and even practically eliminate hair in some areas. Unfortunately, the effects are only temporary. Three to six months later and the hair returns. The hair on my lower legs is finer than before using the Tria, but the other areas always return to pre-treatment state.
I still use the Tria and like the temporary effects of finer, more sparse hair. I do think with the high price of the unit that everyone should know that the effects are not permanent

Well that’s disappointing to hear Dora. 🙁 Thanks for the head’s up.

I know–I was disappointed following the professional treatments, so I knew what I was in store for with the Tria. Originally, the professionals claimed permanent hair removal, but they don’t make that claim now. They must have received some law suits. I do still love the Tria unit and feel like it is the best option available (I have never tried electrolysis). When using it I still have to shave, but less frequently, and the hair is finer. I just wish they would produce a unit with a larger window like they use professionally.
