New this month is the Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched Lip Cream ($21). This lipstick is available in 16 shades which are a majority of nudes and neutrals with a few pinks mixed in. I chose one of the nude shades, Naked Dolly. Too Faced calls Naked Dolly a satin pink but I consider it more of a nude with a hint of pink.
The La Creme lip cream lipsticks contain lotus flower extract which is supposed to hydrate and condition your lips while power peptides smooth and firm. Sounds amazing right? Well it kinda is. This lip cream does keep my lips smooth and moisturized. It has a softer texture that applies to my lips smoothly without any tugging.
The Too Faced La Creme lip creams remind me a lot of the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters. They feel almost exact on the lips and give off about the same amount of pigmentation. The packaging of these lip creams is much more substantial though. I like the pretty gold metal tubes which are heavier and seem better quality than an average lipstick tube.
Since these are so light and soft, wear time is just average. They do come off when eating and drinking and will need reapplied often. But since they are so light, they’re perfect for these warm summer months.

I recently bought Nude Beach and I really love the formula. I think it might be too pink and this one looks perfect!
