Recently I picked up another Tarte Beauty & The Box Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Quad ($22). It’s just like the one I received in The Miracle of Maracuja collection but in a different color palette. Brewed Awakening looked like the perfect combination of eyeshadow shades for fall.
I love the packaging of these quads! They come in a cute patterned cardboard flip top box similar to the Benefit blushes. They are conveniently sized so they aren’t too big and bulky. One eyeshadow quad will fit easily in your hand. In each quad you get four amazing colors.
Colors Inside:
Foam – creamy chai
Raw Sugar – shimmering beige
Espresso – cinnamon
Roast – deep chocolate
Foam is a matte shade but the other three are pretty shimmery. In the packaging, Espresso looks like it has hints olive green in it but I just think that’s because of all the gold shimmer in it. Once swatched, it does look exactly like cinnamon. Roast is a very deep color bordering almost on black and less like chocolate brown.
All of these eyeshadow shades are highly pigmented. Foam is on the light side and may not show up as much on fair skin. They all apply smoothly with no chalkiness or glittery fallout. I am in love with these colors! What do you think of the Tarte Brewed Awakening Amazonian Clay eyeshadow quad?
Available online at Ulta and Tarte.

Hmm, the swatches don’t match up with the shades inside the palette. Looks like there should be an olive green and sort of a navy/gray color, not brown tones.

Hi LC. Actually the swatches are accurate. As I mentioned in the post, Espresso does look olive green but actually comes off as a brown. I myself expected Roast to be a light black but it’s a brown tone too. Both shades don’t really swatch like you’d expect from the looks of them. It took me by surprise too but I actually like the colors more swatched than how they look in the packaging.
