Break out the sunglasses! This one is super bright!
I saw a collection of new Summer Brights nail polishes ($3.99) at Rite Aid recently and fell in love with the lightest green one. Blue Cross Beauty is a cross between a light mint green and a light green neon color.
The name doesn’t really match the color but that’s the only name on the bottom tag so I assumed that was the name of the color. It’s not really blue at all though so who knows, lol. Maybe the tag is wrong.
The polish is pretty decent for the price but it is a little watery and sheer. To keep from needing three or more coats I decided to start with one coat of plain white nail polish for a base. I then only needed to use one coat of the green on top.
I love the color for Spring and Summer! What do you think?

I picked these up too, love the colors. The name of the company is Blue Cross Beauty. They don’t ever name the polish colors for some reason. I have last year’s polishes too, they just call the line “Summer Brights”, but no actual color names. Weird I know.

Oh I see, thanks for letting me know! That is really weird. I’ve never had a nail polish without a color name before.

I recently purchased this too! I love the color. I call it Iced Pistachio. I think they save money by not having to come up with clever color names hahaha

That would make a good name for it Krystal!

Hah! I had to laugh reading this, bc I just picked up this bottle of polish at my job a few weeks ago, and didn’t know where it came from. I work as a volunteer every Monday at a thrift shop located at my local Council On Aging center, and someone had dropped off a big bin of nail polish in allll different colors, and all different brands, with nothing being wrong with them! Which, doesn’t surprise me, after being there for almost 6yrs now, you’d be absolutely amazed at the stuff people donate, esp knowing all proceeds go directly back into the center, and helps fund lots of activities for the elderly in the community. It also helps that it is located in the hoity toity part of town, so we get lots of higher end stuff you probably wouldn’t see at other thrift shops, and at thrift shop prices…. True thrift shop prices, too!
Anyway, I had Googled Summer Brights, bc the circle tag on the bottom, is stuck to another circle tag that is stuck to the bottom of the bottle, and I couldn’t peel that apart, and I was like hmmmmm…. Blue Cross Beauty Can’t be the color of this polish. And, when I Googled it, it showed Blue Cross Beauty Summer Nights, and I was thinking, this still doesn’t give the color name. So, I looked at pics, and urs was best looking, lol, and then when I read it, I was like Ohhh, haha, she thought the same exact thing I did, except, she got hers right from store, so maybe there is no name for it. Lol, and I see someone else said this co doesn’t name their polishes! Well, at least the mystery is solved on my end, and by clicking on your page, I got even more than I expected! I also know where it’s sold…. Although, now, I’m guessing, it’s a long gone color! This bottle is about half full, and seems fine so far, not thick or anything, so at least I’ll get a few wears out of it, and I only pd 25¢, so it’s a win alll the way around! So, thank you for the info! And, I have a new blog to poke around on… I’m just hoping your still posting! =)

Thanks for commenting Em. I forgot about this color and how beautiful it is! You’ve inspired me to dig it out of my collection and use it again!
