Rimmel Skinny Dipping Provocalips 16h Kiss Proof Lip Color ($7.49) is a light nude color. These long wearing lippies come in a range of 10 different colors.
Provocalips are double ended with a liquid lipstick on one end and a clear shine topper on the other end. Both ends have a doe foot applicator so they go on very easily.
The liquid lipstick end is super pigmented. One thin coat gives my lips nice opaque coverage. Once dry, you apply a thin layer of the clear gloss over top.
You must use the clear topcoat though otherwise this feels very sticky and drying on the lips. Just a small amount of the glossy clear layer helps with that.
I’m simply amazed at just how long wearing these Provocalips actually are. Even after eating all day long, the color stays put. Even if you’ve had something greasy like pizza.
And yes, they are very kiss proof. You’ll get no color transfer with these, just the clear gloss.
If you don’t keep the clear gloss on top of the color portion throughout the day, it will start to look cracked and dry. So you do need to keep reapplying the clear topper to avoid that from happening.
At the end of the day you may not be able to remove what’s left of the lip color from your lips, even with makeup remover. You’ll need to use either an oil based makeup remover or just straight olive oil or coconut oil to get it completely off.

Final Verdict
Anyone who likes highly pigmented, long wearing lip colors will love these. Yes, they are a little drying on the lips but their lasting power makes that worth it to me.

This is gorgeous, I really don’t like shimmers in lip products but this one is good!

Yeah, the shimmer in this one is super fine so it’s really not noticeable on the lips.
