This week I’m trying out one of the new double ended Revlon Nail Art Neon nail polishes. I chose the neon green one called Groovy Green. As you can see, these Revlon polishes contain one end with a plain white polish and the other end is the neon polish color.
You start with a coat or two of the white and then top it with a coat or two of the green. That way you get the most bang out of the bold neon color which is good for me cause my white nail tips peak through thinner polishes or lighter colors.
I like the concept of these double ended nail polishes but they are a bit of a pain to use. When you’re painting with one end, the part in your hand is bigger and top heavy. So if you need to stop and correct a messy spot, you can’t just set the brush end back into the bottle or it will tip over. So you have to stand it on it’s end with the wet brush in the air. Not a biggie but kinda annoying.
I did like the opacity of the nail polish though. The next time I use it, I will probably skip the white cause I don’t think I really needed it. To give this manicure a little something extra, I decided to add a fun glitter polish on top.
I recently bought a few mini bottles of glitter polish to try from D & R Apothecary on Etsy. I went with Aquarelle for this one which contains pale pink squares, white bars, lilac hex and mini aqua hex. On my nails it just adds an iridescent look over the neon green.

LOVE the look of this glitter top coat over the lime green. It’s SO fun!
