Today we’re going back in time a little to share with you my November Play by Sephora box. I normally would just skip it since I’m so far behind but there were too many exciting things in it not to share.
First off, the bag for that month was so cute! They just seem to be getting better and better each month.
November was all about the glow. It’s a super hot trend these days so this was perfect timing for just before the holidays.
Here’s what came in the November #SephoraPlay box:
Glam Glow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment ($22) – So excited to see this! I’ve been dying to try any Glam Glow masks but they are just so darn expensive. This one is supposed to moisturize your skin and make it more radiant.
Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet ($10) – A gel cream moisturizer to hydrate and soften skin. The ingredients are supposed to calm redness and give you luminous, healthy skin.
Cover FX Illuminating Primer ($6.08) – A silicone free facial primer with a luminous glow. Makes your skin appear more radiant and brighter.
Sephora Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Pin Up Pink ($10) – A really pretty semi-sheer lip gloss in a medium pink color. Gives my lips a nice bit of added color with a ton of glossy shine. A tad sticky but not too, too bad.
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color in Rose Gold ($17.45) – A highly pigmented and creamy eyeshadow stick. It’s a beautiful shimmery rose gold color. Tons of color payoff with this one!
Maison Margiela Replica Lipstick On Fragrance ($1.47) – “Lipstick On combines airy, powdery notes of solid iris with sensual galbanum, vanilla bourbon, and absolute tonka bean to evoke a familiar but forgotten moment—a woman’s nocturnal beauty ritual.” Very unique scent. You can definitely smell the vanilla but the rest is nice and soft. It’s not nearly as floral smelling as I feared it would be.
Overall I loved November’s bag! Every single item this month was a total hit for me. The retail value of my samples came to $67. Not bad for the $10 investment plus I got to try a bunch of brands I’ve been really curious about.
