The March Play by Sephora subscription box was all about getting that glow on for Summer! There were a few hits as well as a few misses in this box for me. Let’s have a look!
First off, the bag is super cute. It’s a plain white cotton bag printed with a neon design on the front.
Here’s what came in the March #SephoraPlay box:
GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer ($6.92) – A nice and thin skin cream that moisturizes as well as illuminates the skin. It has a really yummy light orange scent and really does add a good amount of glow to the skin. Hopefully it won’t break me out.
Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm ($7.20) – A thick balm that can be used before or after makeup application. It gives the skin a soft ethereal effect. I’ll probably use it as a primer because it does seem to help blur lines and pores as well.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal ($9.50) – Becca makes the best highlighters around! This is the liquid version in their golden opal pearl color. A little bit goes a long way to give your skin the most beautiful, natural looking glow. This is a great size for travel.
Verb Ghost Oil ($4) – A clear hair oil to smooth frizz and add shine. Not much else to say about this one.
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Big Bang ($4.64) – Love the packaging, hate the color! Not only is this bright pink but it’s loaded with sparkle. Was so excited to see this in the box but why couldn’t they have given us a color we could actually use. So disappointing!
Atelier Cologne Clementine California ($?) – This smells pretty nice. It’s a light scent of sweet, juicy clementines and mandarins along with some other notes.
Overall this month was pretty good. The GlamGlow, Becca and Josie Maran products made the box worthwhile. The Urban Decay lipstick and the Ghost Oil were a pass for me.
The total retail value of my March #SephoraPlay box came to $32.26. I already have April’s box in my hands and its a good one. Watch for that to come soon!
