The bag in this month’s Play by Sephora box couldn’t be any cuter! The bright pink popsicle coordinates perfectly with the theme, Effortless Summer.
This is my third month receiving the box and I’m still quite impressed. The samples are definitely deluxe sized and well worth the $10/month fee.
Here’s what was included:
First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser ($5.11) – A foaming gel cleanser that uses red clay and botanicals to help remove excess oils, unclog pores, and purify the skin. I love trying new skincare so I’m curious about this one.
Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer ($9.75) – My favorite primer brand by far! I haven’t tried this version yet so I’m excited to have this sample. Smashbox is one of the only primers that’s able to control my oily skin.
Ouai Wave Spray ($8.97) – A texturizing hair mist that is supposed to give you that undone “beachy” look. My hair is already curly and frizzy so I don’t need any added texture or volume, lol. I’ll be passing on this one.
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer ($6.85) – A matte cocoa powder infused bronzer for medium/deep skin. It has a creamy smooth texture that blends out easily to give your skin added warmth. I already own the full size but it’s nice to have a smaller one for travel. Smells amazing!
BeautyBlender Blotterazzi ($8) – A thin washable and reusable blotting sponge. You’re supposed to use it to blot away excess shine and oil on your face during the day. Not sure how I feel about this. I probably won’t use it very often, if at all.
Nest Citrine Fragrance ($1.60) – A beautiful blend of lotus flower, freesia and citrus. It’s more floral than citrus but not overly flowery. I like it.
Not a bad month at all. I was pretty excited about everything but the Ouai Wave Spray and the Blotterazzi sponge. The total value for this Play by Sephora box came to $40.28.
