There’s only 15 days until Halloween so if you want to get spooked, you should do it now! Below, I have gathered a list of 10 local haunted houses for your entertainment. We live about 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, PA, so this listing is local to residents of Western Pennsylvania.

The ScareHouse, in Pittsburgh, PA is ranked as one of “America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions” by Travel Channel.
Located just minutes from downtown, The ScareHouse was also named as “America’s 5th Best Haunted Attraction” by Hauntworld magazine.

When: Thursdays through Sundays: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

This attraction consists of a haunted hayride, haunted trail and haunted house geared towards teens and adults.

This haunted experience has expanded for its 6th year and has some new attractions; “Massacre Mansion”, “South Valley Hospital”, “The Graveyard Circus” and “Hillhaven Penitentiary”. There is also a 7500 square-foot maze.

Recommended for ages eight and over, the Hobgoblin Hikes are ½ mile outdoor guided walks through the haunted woods of the park. Visitors can expect to be led through mazes and cemeteries, and past more than 100 ghouls, goblins and monsters.

Fright Farm has been an integral part of many people’s Halloween tradition for over a decade, growing every year since it’s inception. Fright Farm is the largest haunted attraction in Western Pennsylvania!

Haunted Hills Estate Trail is a haunted 80 minute long experience with 10 challenges that groups must face and attempt along the trail. In addition to the Challenge Trail, there are two other haunted attractions: “Legends” and the “The Chamber of Chills”
