Today I’m sharing with you the two beautiful blush shades from the Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glowing Nude Collection. The glowing nude blush ($12.95) comes in two colors, Natural and Rose. Both of the colors were too pretty so I had to buy both of course!
First off, the packaging is adorable and sucked me right in! Everything has a cute little pink plastic bow on the top. The blush and bronzers in this collection consist of 4 different shades together with “nude wear” embossed on the top. The embossed part has a glittery white overspray that quickly disappears with the first use.
The square packaging like these is usually the same with Phsicians Formula products. The top flips open to reveal the product while the bottom also flips open to reveal a nice size mirror and brush. I love that both sides close with a magnetic closure.
I love both of these! When the colors of each shade are swirled together you get two really pretty blush colors. They both have great color payoff and do give my cheeks a nice glow. Rose is not very rose at all, it’s actual a bright pink color while Natural is more of a coral pink.
The only thing I really don’t like about these is the price. I really think $13 is getting a little high for a drugstore blush. There are a lot of lower priced alternatives that can give your cheeks very similar glowing pink color.
What do you think of these two Physicians Formula Nude Wear glowing blush shades?

I agree that PF is overpriced, not just these blushes, but everything! But the good news is that they do go on sale, or have extra bucks very often (at CVS). I would prefer they just made them reasonably priced in the first place though. I think they are trying to market them as better than the other drugstore makeup though and that’s why the price. At least they did way back when, like 10 or more years ago. Then the big thing was how PF is made with more natural ingredients and lead you to believe that since they were an actual physician’s formula that they were safer, healthier etc.
I do like many of their products, mostly eyeliners and some of the blushes. But I’m sick of all the shimmer in everything. Now, I’d be an idiot if I bought something called SHIMMER strips and didn’t expect shimmer, but honestly almost everything is shimmery and I really wish they would make more matte color products. I won’t be buying these blushes…because…shimmer! lol

I completely agree Donna, their prices are getting way too high. I too don’t care for all their shimmery products so I rarely buy Physicians Formula products. I too wait for the sales, this week they were on sale at Rite Aid for 40% off so I did buy a new bronzer bb cream that I will review soon.

Oh I meant to say that I am really enjoying your site. I don’t buy luxury brands, I just can’t afford them. I do buy some “high end” if you count Urban Decay, Tarte, and the like though. Anyway, your site has a nice mix of products that I do buy and I find that refreshing since so many do review a ton of upscale cosmetics and ignore drugstore.

Thanks Donna! I actually prefer getting more for my money so I tend to buy mostly drugstore brands since the quality has really been getting much better too. 🙂
