Recently I came across two really pretty pink blush shades from Physicians Formula. After looking at them both I realized the two color choices were made to coordinate with your hair color and enhance your skin tone. I think it’s kinda weird that they left redheads and black haired gals hanging though by only having a Blonde and Brunette color choice.
I’m clearly a sucker for anything multi-colored so I picked up the Brunette shade of this Powder Palette Custom Blush. This blush consists of shades of pink ranging from pale pink to medium pink. The lighter shades have more of a satin finish while the darker shade has a bit of shimmer.
I like that this compact is not too bulky like some Physicians Formula packaging can be. The blush part does flip up though to reveal a nice sized mirror and brush.
As you can see on the outside packaging, you can wear this baked blush wet or dry. It has plenty of pigmentation when I use it dry so I haven’t tried using it wet. The formula is silky smooth. It blends together beautifully without being too dry or powdery.
When the colors are swirled together you get a pretty medium coral pink color. It gives my skin a beautiful glow that looks really natural.
I really like this blush. It’s a really flattering shade that makes me look more awake and alive especially in all this cold weather.
