Recently I was looking to buy a replacement for my empty Covergirl Lineblast eyeliner at Ulta when I came across one that looked exactly like it. The Palladio Eye Ink Felt Tip Eyeliner ($5.99) is in the same type of packaging and are priced $2 cheaper. Plus I got these two on sale for even less then that!
These Eye Inks come in a total of 6 shades. Since they were buy one, get one half off I bought two to try. I picked up Dark Brown and Smokey which is a medium gray color.
I like the smaller size of these eyeliner pens. The compact design makes it easier to handle during application. They have very precise fine tips that help you make very fine lines or thicker if you prefer.
Wear time is very good and comparible to the Covergirl version. It stays on my eyelids all day long with no smudging or transferring even though the weather has been so humid and sticky lately.
Now for the bad news. The gray one has already dried out on me. So much so that I had trouble even getting a swatch today, only 3 weeks after buying it. 🙁 I’m surprised because the brown one is still super wet.
Not sure if I can officially recommend these Palladio Eye Ink liquid eyeliners as of today. I’m having a really good experience with the dark brown one but so disappointed by the gray one being absolutely useless now less than a month after buying it.

I know right!? I don’t like wearing black too often because I think it’s too harsh on me. I was excited for the gray as a lighter alternative. I don’t know of any other brand that has a matte gray liquid liner. 🙁
