Recently I added NYX Powder Blush in Silky Rose ($6) to my collection. Silky Rose is a really pretty mauve rose color. I like this color because it’s not a dark berry rose color. This shade leans more on the darker mauve pink side.
This is not my first NYX powder blush nor will it be my last. I really like all of the shades I own. These NYX blushers are very pigmented and apply smoothly. Silky Rose has no shimmer or sparkles in it but it does give a slight glow to your cheeks.
For the price, NYX Silky Rose would make a good addition to anyone’s collection. It can be worn light enough for fair skin like mine or can be worn darker for warmer skin tones.

Silky Rose is a beautiful mauve-rose shade. I love it because it doesn’t have the deep berry tones of other rose shades.
