Along with Little Black Bag, I also decided to try the Julep Maven monthly subscription box. Julep is a brand of nail polish that until recently was only available on their own website. Sephora started carrying it only a few months ago. Julep Maven is their subscription service that costs $19.99 a month.
The monthly boxes usually consist of at least two Julep nail polishes and some beauty extras. Initially you take a style quiz that will match you up to one of 5 style profiles. The nice thing is that you are not committed to that particular box. If you don’t care for those nail polish colors, you can choose to switch to one of the other boxes.
The main reason why I chose to try the service in the first place is because I came across a coupon code for an awesome deal. With the code Penny, you can subscribe to the service and get your first box for 0nly 1¢, shipping included! It was too good to pass up!
The first box I chose was from the Boho Glam style profile. In the box I received two nail polishes, Courtney and Hayden. I also received a 2 oz tube of Pedi Creme for my feet and a pair of pedicure toe separators. The creme smells really good, it’s a combination of fresh cucumbers and mint.
These nail polish colors are perfect for summer. Courtney is a light green lime color that reminds me of honeydew melon. And Hayden is a light peachy orange that reminds me of ripe cantaloupe.
I still can’t believe I got this Julep Maven box for only 1¢! What a fabulous deal! I already got my box for August and it was amazing too, a blog post for that will come soon too. I’m still seeing the ads for the penny deal so you can still take advantage of it too. You can sign up for Julep Maven here.
