Milani Make It Last Setting Spray ($10) has worked its way straight up to the top of my list of favorite makeup setting sprays. Here’s why I’m loving it so much.
Best of all, it’s drugstore, so you can easily find it and even get it on sale. I love the frosted plastic bottle which is nice and small and compact. No unnecessary packaging here.
You can easily see how much you have left and when you’re close to running out. I’ve been using mine now for over a month and I still have tons left.
The spray nozzle is one of the best I’ve tried on a makeup setting spray. Make It Last comes out in the most fine, delicate mist ever. No harsh droplets, just a light misting across your face.
It has a light fragrance to it, almost like a soft perfume. This setting spray dries down quickly and the scent goes away as it dries.
Ever since I’ve been using this setting spray, my makeup seems to be lasting longer on me throughout the day. I have a very oily t-zone that gets shiny, with previously used sprays, after about 4 hours. This Milani version prolongs that an extra few hours.
I also like the way this Make It Last spray takes away that overly powdery look that matte finishing/setting powders can give you. This softens any cakiness and dryness to give your makeup a more flawless, even finish.
If you’re a fan of setting sprays, I highly recommend giving this one a try. It’s one of the more expensive drugstore setting spray options but more effective, in my opinion, and still much cheaper than the high-end brands.
Available online at Milani.
