Fans of cream blush will love the Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Sticks ($8.99). These wind up sticks come in 6 different shades. I picked up two of them, Pink Fever and Plums Up.
Pink Fever is a bright pink color. Plums Up is a very deep plum/red wine shade that’s more on the brown side. It looks like an odd color in the packaging but it’s actually really nice when blended out.
These buggers are extremely pigmented! I was pleasantly surprised at how little you need to use and how creamy they are. They contain shea butter which must give it that smooth creamy texture.
A little bit goes a very long way. I just dab a few spots on my cheeks then blend it out with a blush brush. You can wear this with a light hand for just a light wash of color or you could use more for a more intense look.
The formula is what I like most about the Master Glaze. They go on moist and dewy like cream blush usually does but then they dry down to a nice powdery, satin smooth finish. And the wear time is good on my oily skin as well. I can get about 8 hours of wear before they start to fade.
I was really leary about buying these cause cream blush usually doesn’t do well on my oily skin. I’m really happy that I picked these up and would like to snag a couple more shades. They’re really quick and easy to use and I’m impressed by their color payoff and wear time.
