Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick in N10 ($19) feels so smooth and creamy on my lips. It applies really nicely and has a really nice shiny finish to it. With these lipsticks there is no need to add a gloss on top.
N10 is called an iridescent copper pink. The color on my lips looks more like a combination of a medium pink and a brick red. It reminds me more of a rose color. I really like the color and the texture is great. It feels soft and silky like Revlon Lip Butters but slightly more opaque.
To me there’s not much iridescence so I’m not sure why they call it that, the name’s a little misleading. Up close you can see a very tiny amount of finely milled shimmer in the tube but it’s not noticeable on the lips at all. I ordered this Rouge Artist lipstick online and I was nervous that iridescent was going to be frost like. I was so glad that it wasn’t, phew!
Pretty isn’t it? Have you tried out these Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural lipsticks? I like them so much that I bought N37, Iridescent Icy Coral, too so you’ll be seeing that real soon also! And N35, Iridescent Orange Pink, is on my shopping list for the future.

I have N10 and I love it. It is such a beautiful copper-pink-rose color that is easy to wear. Do you have a recommendation for a lip pencil that pairs well with this shade?

Hi Bridget, thanks for stopping by. I’m sorry but I don’t have a lip liner recommendation to share. I’m not a big user of lip liners. Sorry I couldn’t help.
