Over the past few years I’ve kicked drugstore and high-end skincare to the curb. I used to get breakouts constantly and couldn’t figure out why. I thought it was just normal for my oily skin but I was so very wrong.
I started experimenting with more natural and/or organic skincare items that were full of ingredients I could actually pronounce. Once I stopped using chemical laden skincare products, my skin improved 100%.
So when I was contacted recently by Made From Earth, I jumped at the chance to try some of their skincare items. Their products are made with organic ingredients with no parabens, synthetic colors or fragrances.
Let’s start with one of my faves. The Made From Earth Grapefruit Glycolic Face Wash smells amazing! It has an energizing and bright citrus scent that wakes you up in the morning. It contains tiny jojoba beads that gently massage your skin without being too rough.
Grapefruit contains powerful antioxidants for fighting free radical damage that ages skin prematurely. Glycolic Acid regenerates skins natural renewal process; MSM drives ingredients deep into the epidermal layer, preventing problematic skin conditions in the future.
My second favorite of the group is the Made From Earth Skin Correcting Toner. I love spraying this one on my face right before bed. It’s light, refreshing and quickly absorbs into the skin and also smells amazing.
I’ve been mainly using this as a replacement for my evening moisturizer. My skin still feels and looks soft in the morning even without my moisturizing cream.
In the mornings I’ve been applying this Made From Earth Rosehip and Hibiscus Facial Serum. I apply it to my bare skin before my moisturizer. It has a nice thin consistency that quickly absorbs into my skin.
Rose hips are a rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and Vitamin C. The serum’s ingredients play a primary role in the regeneration process of skin cells and repair of damaged tissues.
The Made From Earth Chamomile Eye Therapy is a thick under eye cream. It’s supposed to be used for only 5 days then rest a few days before using again, but I’ve been using it daily for a few weeks now.
It is thick and takes a bit longer to absorb so I’ve only been using this eye cream in the evenings before bed. It seems to be keeping my under eye area nice and moisturized.
A rich moisturizing eye treatment, using chamomile to gently calm the eye area. Encourages the production of collagen using Vitamin C and advanced peptides, targeting wrinkles, signs of aging and damaged eyes.
The Made From Earth Vitamin C Moisturizer has a nice smooth consistency that easily absorbs into the skin so I use this before foundation and after the Rosehip & Hibiscus Serum. It’s also been keeping my face soft and moisturized.
The Vitamin C Moisturizer contains the highest possible concentration of Vitamin C, which is essential for maintaining smoothness and elasticity. Vitamin C encourages collagen production, which brightens and softens the skin.
The one thing that I haven’t really tried yet is the Made From Earth Cucumber Cooling Gel. It has a few different uses but I just haven’t needed to use it yet. It has a nice cucumber scent to it.
Under eye therapy: Instead of slicing cucumbers, use the Cucumber Cooling Gel both under and around your eyes for its restoration effect. Not only will it help under eye bags and dark circles, but it will also smooth fine lines.
Healing sun damaged skin: Apply to areas that have been sunburnt or sun damaged. The gel cools the heat from skin, and stimulates the production of new skin cells. After the burn has healed, the gel is able to diminish sun spots with its stimulation of new skin cells. Its is excellent for applications after a long day in the sun.
Even skin tone: Stimulating skin cells gets new even skin cells to form which creates a smoother pigment gradient on facial skin.
Overall I’m a fan of these organic Made From Earth skincare products. I’ve been using them for over a month now and my skin has been looking great. I haven’t had any breakouts at all.
