L’Oreal Infallible Paints Eyeshadows ($8.99) are a duo of liquid cream shadows in matte and shimmer combinations. There are 12 different color combos in the line but today we’re looking at Nude Fishnet.
The packaging is all plastic. Each end unscrews to reveal doe foot applicators.
Most of the color choices in this line are quite colorful. I went for one of the more neutral duos of the bunch.
One half of Nude Fishnet is a peach toned matte flesh color. The other half is a shimmery champagne pink color.
Both colors are extremely pigmented and very creamy in texture. A little bit goes a long way and gives nice opaque coverage. These liquid eyeshadows blend out easily and can be built up as well.
Since the consistency of these shadows are more whipped and creamy, the doe foot applicator can get a little gunked up and messy. What I like to do is put some of the product on the back of my hand and then use my finger or a brush to apply it to my eyelids.
This helps me control the eyeshadow better and keeps me from making too much of a mess. I also get a more even application with this method.
The matte shade in Nude Fishnet works well with my fingers but I definitely prefer using a brush for the shimmer shade. Both of the colors dry down pretty quickly.
Each of the shadow colors have really great staying power. They stay locked on my eyelids pretty much all day.
I have very oily eyelids so on these really humid days, the shimmer shade can crease slightly. However, that is pretty much expected because not many eyeshadows can stand up to that kind of pressure.
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from these. But I’m surprisingly pretty impressed by their color payoff, coverage and wear time.
Have you tried any of these L’Oreal Infallible Paints cream eyeshadow duos yet?
