L’Oreal Nude Allude Infallible Pro Matte Gloss ($8.50) is one of 6 limited edition colors. This color is not your typical nude. It’s more of a pinky mauve with a touch of brown.
It has a generous sized applicator and a nice creamy texture. This sucker is super pigmented so a little goes a very long way. One swipe of Nude Allude gives my lips opaque coverage.
I have a hard time calling this a true matte formula. The finish has a tiny amount of shine to it even after you let it set up on the lips.
I actually prefer the look of this matte gloss after about an hour of wearing it and drinking my coffee. From pressing my lips against my cup, the glossy portion sort of rubs off and leaves it looking more matte.
Speaking of rubbing off, this matte lippie transfers a lot and is not long wearing. You will need to reapply this one throughout the day.
I do enjoy the creamy formula of this matte gloss. It stays creamy as you wear it and never dries out. My lips stay nice and soft without feeling tight or parched.

The Final Verdict
I’m left feeling very mixed about this L’Oreal Pro Matte formula. I like the color payoff and creamy formula but I do wish it was more matte and long wearing.
