L’Oreal Colour Riche Matte lip liners ($8.99) come in 8 different colors. I picked up two nude shades, Matte’s It and Matte-ing Call.
Matte’s It is a pink nude color while Matte-ing Call is a warm toned nude shade. These lip pencils are not retractable and will need sharpened manually.
These L’Oreal lip liners are very creamy and transfer nicely to the lips. They don’t require a lot of tugging or pulling to get good color payoff.
One swipe across the lips gives you full opaque coverage. I enjoy wearing these all over the lips for full coverage as well as just a lip liner.
When worn all over the lips, the formula is very comfortable. Most mattes feel so unbearably dry but these actually don’t bother me. It almost feels like wearing nothing at all.
They definitely have a matte finish but one that doesn’t make your lips look parched. They also don’t accentuate lip lines badly either like some dryer matte formulas do.
Once the lip liner sets, they’re virtually transfer proof, which surprised me. Since they don’t transfer, they last really long on my lips as well.
I’m really impressed by the L’Oreal Colour Riche Matte formula. The color payoff is great, they’re transfer proof, comfortable on the lips and the colors are really pretty.
