L’oreal has added a new liquid concealer to their Infallible Pro-Glow line. It’s available in a range of eight shades and retails for about $10 each.
I purchased mine a few weeks ago on Amazon, before they became available online at Ulta. Unfortunately both of the lightest shades were sold out at that time so I settled for Nude Beige.
Normally Nude Beige would be a bit too dark for me but for summer, it matches me pretty good. It’s definitely got some pink tones to it as well.
The packaging reminds me a lot of the Maybelline Fit Me! concealer. Same exact size tube and long wand.
The Pro-Glow concealer wand has a nice size head that is flat on both sides. It holds a good amount of product for application.
Unfortunately this liquid concealer doesn’t provide a lot of coverage. It’s a pretty thin formula that blends out nicely but also sheers out quite a bit.
I’d call it about light-medium coverage. For anyone with severe discoloration and dark circles, this concealer just won’t cut it.
The finish does have a bit of a sheen to it. It’s not overly dewy or shiny, just a bit of a glow.
However, if you bake your undereye area or set it with any powders whatsoever, it totally negates the Pro-Glow effects. Basically it becomes just an average, normal concealer.
The concealer itself feels nice and light under the eyes. Even when set with powder, it doesn’t look dry or cakey, which is nice.
I don’t notice it creasing too badly on me as well. After a full day, I do notice some settling in fine lines but it doesn’t look terrible. I expect that is because it is so thin though.
Overall I’m very underwhelmed by the L’oreal Pro-Glow concealer. It doesn’t offer enough coverage or glowing qualities to make it stand out among the other good drugstore concealer competition.
I’ll stick with my latest fave, the Covergirl Outlast All-Day concealer.
Available online at Ulta.
