L’Oreal recently released 4 new shades of their popular 24hr Infallible Eyeshadows this Spring. I had already seen several swatches of the collection before actually finding them in stores so I knew I was only really interested in one shade, Cherie Merie.
Cherie Merie is a unique looking color when just in the packaging. If I had found it before seeing swatches online, I would have most likely passed it by in the store. In the container it looks like an orange, red, coppery color. But when swatched, it’s gorgeous!
This eyeshadow is a beautiful medium peach/coral color. It is super pigmented like all of the Infallible eyeshadows are. Usually they have a very shimmery finish but this one is more of a satin when not in direct light.
I like that it’s less shimmery and glittery, since I am quickly approaching the big 4-0. The finish has a sort of glow to it that makes it wearable as a blush too. It easily blends out to a soft peach color on the cheeks.
So what do you think of L’Oreal’s Cherie Merie Infallible Eyeshadow?

Oh really? I’m not a big MAC user but that’s good to know. Thanks!
