I have a new favorite lipstick for this fall that rivals a lot of high end lippies I’ve tried so far. Introducing the new L’Oreal Colour Rich Caresse Stick lipstick ($10) in the color Sunset Angora. It’s hard not to notice the countertop display with their sleek gold shiny packaged tubes. They look classy and high end but they’re actually light, cheap plastic which was a bit disappointing.
This is a product that was first introduced, and made very popular, in the UK. There are 16 shades available in a variety of beautiful colors. I went with one of the pink shades, Sunset Angora. Sunset Angora is a really pretty light pink color. It’s lighter than a medium pink but not as bright as a bubblegum pink. It looks much darker in the tube than what the color actually is on the lips.
I love the texture of this lipstick. It’s nice and light and not thick and heavy. It’s as light on the lips as a Revlon Lip Butter but does not feel as greasy and has way more pigmentation. Since the texture is more along the lines of a lipstick, it has the average wear time of one also.
I’m really impressed with this L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Stick. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of pigmentation it has. I was expecting another balm like lippie since that trend has become so popular. Even though it’s a bit higher priced for a drugstore lipstick, I will be picking up another color or two.
What do you think of these new L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Stick lipsticks?

Sheer Linen is one I’ve been eyeing up, I may have to get that one. It took me quite a while to get the hang of taking swatch pictures so I appreciate the compliment!
