Laura Geller’s All Stars 5 piece collection is one heck of a deal at $55. Every piece in the collection is full size so that only comes out to $11 for each product, not including the cute makeup bag.
In the collection you get:
- Balance and Brighten Foundation (0.32oz) – mine is in Porcelain
- Blush -n- Brighten in Pink Grapefruit (0.176oz)
- Baked Marble Eyeshadow in Starburst and Amethyst (0.06oz)
- Spackle Tinted Primer in Champagne (2oz)
- Waterproof Eye Spackle (0.074oz)
- Makeup Bag
I do really like Laura Geller’s Balance n Brighten powder foundation. It’s my go to foundation for days when I don’t want to or don’t have time to fuss with liquid foundation. Or if I’m just running to the store, I can quickly brush some on and go.
Balance n Brighten starts its life as a liquid foundation then they bake it into a solid compact shape. It gives nice coverage and evens out any redness. I usually use Balance n Brighten in Fair but was thinking about getting some of the Porcelain now that winter is here and I’m not getting any sun. When I saw this collection come up on QVC, I decided it was the perfect time to do that.
Laura Geller is probably best known for her Spackle. Spackle is her own brand of oil-free facial primer. This kit comes with Spackle in the tinted shade Champagne. It’s a very pale skin tone shade that leaves a subtle glow on your skin.
What I love most about Laura Geller is that she makes everything so pretty. Her baked eye shadows and blush are absolutely beautiful just to look at. They’re always a blend of a few pretty colors swirled around just like this blush. Pink Grapefruit is her most popular blush color and I can see why. It’s a blend of beige, mauve and pink colors along with a bit of shimmer. Once swirled together, they give your cheeks a pretty peach pink glow. Love it!
The baked eye shadow duo is just as pretty. One half is in the color Starburst and the other half is in Amethyst. Starburst is a marbled blend of brown, pink and gold. Once blended, it’s a light chocolate brown with hints of pink and gold shimmer. The Amethyst is marbled in light pink and lavender. It ends up as a light frosty purple.
Last but not least, is the Waterproof Eye Spackle. This is Laura Geller’s lightly tinted eye shadow primer in an easy brush tipped pen form. A little goes a very long way. I just brush on a dab and it keeps my shadows in place all day. It’s definitely right up there with Urban Decay Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
This was an awesome buy! I’d recommend this kit to anyone. It comes in a cloth makeup bag that is printed with customer quotes about her products. If it had only came with a lip product though, it could have been a full face collection. But that’s no biggie to me, I’ll just add my own gloss to the bag and go.

Wow that’s a good value all that for 55 dollars. The make up bag is very cute. I haven’t tried any Laura Geller cosmetics before I should probably try them.
