I’m so excited to finally try out a few of the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints ($3.25). There are a total of 18 different colors so I had a hard time narrowing it down. Since I have only seen these sold online, It was really hard to get a true sense of the colors.
I took a stab in the dark and chose Whisper, Elude, Peony and Blushing. Whisper is a true nude shade that is a tad too light for my fair skin. To make myself look a little less dead, I like to add a touch of either a darker nude or pink to it.
Elude is a nice pink nude color while Peony is more of a medium pink. Blushing is by far my favorite of the bunch. It’s a beautiful berry color that is perfect for fall.
These lip paints have great color payoff as well as being almost fully opaque. They have a very glossy finish but feel more like a lipstick on the lips. You don’t get any stickiness issues at all.
I will say that the slanted black plastic tip doesn’t really make application the easiest. They have a bit of a slippery texture that gets a bit messy when just squeezing it onto your lips. It’s easiest and a lot neater to apply them with a lip brush.
These lippies remind me a lot of the OCC Lip Tars but they are a whole heck of a lot cheaper. I love that they look and feel like liquid lipsticks and they do not dry out my lips at all. A little goes a very long way as well so these will last forever.
I bought my L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints at Lady Moss.
