The February 2013 Julep Maven box was excellent! This month I went for the Bombshell style profile. Not only did I receive two full sized Julep nail polishes but there was also an Oxygen Nail Treatment and a bonus top coat included!
I was excited this month because there were several shades of holographic nail polish in the style profiles to choose from. Holographic polishes look so neat and I didn’t have any in my collection so far. The Bombshell profile contained a light sand colored holographic, Ginger, that I thought would make a great starter for me into the world of holographic nail polish. And it is stunning in person!
The other nail polish shade in my Julep Maven box this month was Laura, an olive khaki cream shade. Swatches for both shades of nail polish are below. I’m also excited to try both the Oxygen nail treatment and the Freedom top coat. The top coat is supposed to give your manicure the shine and durability of a gel.
On top of everything I already mentioned, they also included two chocolate heart candies and a mini eyelash curler. Not sure how much use I’ll get from this plastic eyelash curler but I sure enjoyed the chocolate!
After such a great month for February, I’m unfortunately skipping March’s Julep Maven box. All of the selections were pastel colors and I’ve already got plenty of those in my collection already. Are you getting next month’s Julep Maven box?

I love both of those polishes, gorgeous! I have a lash curler that is that style, and when I got it I didn’t think I’d like it, but after trying it, that’s the only style I buy now. I find it never (ever) pinches me, while the metal ones I’ve used always did.

Interesting Bailey. I’ll have to give it a try and see how it compares to my regular one.
