I’m so behind on posting my Julep Maven boxes but I really liked the nail polish colors so I still wanted to show them all to you. Since the new year is almost upon us, I’ve got some major catching up to do. I’ve got so many things to still show you from Fall/Winter collections and I’m already buying new items popping up at the drugstores!
For the November 2012 box, I chose the It Girl style option. In this Julep Maven box I got three bottles of nail polish and some polish remover pads. Two of the nail polish colors are in a suede finish. They look glossy when it goes on your nails but dries to a matte finish.
Here’s what I got:
Hailee – a dark green with lots of silvery flecks of sparkle
Nora – a dark purple shade with lots of flecks of silver sparkle
Clear Matte Top Coat – a clear top coat that will make any nail polish matte. Not sure why they’d choose this one for this month’s box since all the shades are already matte.
One Step Polish Remover Pad (3) – each packet contains one pre-soaked nail polish remover pad. Works ok but one pad is not enough to do all 10 fingers.
I really like these polishes from the November box. I like that they’re beautiful colors that can basically be worn by any age. I’m skipping January’s Julep Maven box because the colors are just too bright and nothing special. I felt these ones were special enough to still share them with you months after the fact. What do you think of Julep’s Hailee and Nora?
